This function offers you the possibility to
delete unnecessary and empty entries from the registry. For this you have two
possibilities: you can choose the slower, but more effective method in which the
registry is rewritten completely in DOS-mode. This makes the computer work
faster. Hit "Slow" to start the process. Answer the questions and reboot
the PC. This process takes several hours even on fast computers. It may in no
cases be cancelled!
After rebooting, WinSpeedUp should start automatically with Windows. If not,
please start WinSpeedUp, so the process can finish.
The fast mode takes a few seconds and lists the unnecessary entries of the registry so that you can delete them. Hit "Fast" to start this method.
Windows Me, 2000, XP and Server 2003 do not offer the slow method, because there is no DOS-mode available on these operating systems.
